8 July 2010 Dear Friends: While at Church Camp with 120 of our youth and counselors this past month, a favorite song was “Sanctuary”. Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy , tried and true.… Ah, sanctification…a big word, and a process that the Bible states “comes from God’s Holy Spirit.” Are you feeling sanctified, lately? To become holy, to become like Christ…that is a long , slow process of growth that begins after one commits their life to Christ. When we are finally able to see Jesus perfectly, we’ll become perfectly like him. In the meantime, Jesus, by His Holy Spirit, wants to make us like himself before we go to heaven. This is our greatest privilege, our immediate responsibility, and our ultimate destiny...
