Ministry Teams and Committees |

Administrative Board The Administrative Board coordinates the planning and implementation of programs of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources within the church. It also provides for the administration of the church as an organization. Several boards report directly to the Administrative Board, including those listed below.
Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees oversees all property and equipment owned and operated by the church. This includes the upkeep and maintenance of the building itself, of the grounds, and of the equipment within the building and the grounds.
Building and Remodeling The Building and Remodeling Committee works on issues related to physical church growth needs and projects.
Finance The Finance Committee oversights the church budget, as well as developing and implementing plans to raise income sufficient to meet the church's budgeting needs.
Nominations and Personnel The Nominations and Personnel team works prayerfully to fill openings on committees and ministry teams.
Staff Parish Relations The SPR Committee identifies and clarifies the values for ministry of the church, as well as its mission. The committee reflects upon and oversees the role and work of the pastors and the staff, assists the pastors and staff in setting priorities for ministry, and communicates between the congregation and the staff. This committee also addresses employee compensation and evaluation procedures. |

Council on Ministries The Council on Ministries operates as a sub-committee from the Administrative Board to oversee those committees related to the ministries of the church internally and externally.
The Education team seeks to continually instill Christian values and foster spiritual development in the NHUMC family in order to invite people to know Jesus Christ, nurture people in faith through the Holy Spirit, and serve others in God's honor.
Church and Society is a team within our church that distributes a tithe of our annual budget to organizations within our community. Some organizations supported by this team include VEAP, Bridging, Cornerstone, etc.
Evangelism The Evangelism Team seeks to find ways to encourage and support our members in sharing their faith stories with one another and beyond the walls of NHUMC. Additionally, this team seeks to create a welcoming environment within our church as well as to minister to those within our community who do not have a church home.
The NHUMC Missions Team supports Christian organizations or persons whose mission is world evangelism and/or social justice, relief and development. The Missions Team seeks to develop mutually enriching relationships with those affiliated with, but not limited to, the United Methodist denomination and/or members of our own congregation.
Worship The Worship team focuses on issues and events connected to worship at NHUMC. They work both with the pragmatic and the creative aspects of worship in hopes that our church might provide genuine worship of God for all of the people of God.
Youth Advisory Committee YAC functions as an advisory and assistance committee to the Youth Director. Some duties include giving input on youth programming ideas, offering feedback and support, and assisting in recruiting volunteers to help with various needs of the youth program. |
