SINGERS WANTED!
If you like to sing please join the Chancel Choir on Thursday night, August 21st at our 2nd Summer Sizzler, the choir is singing a medley of songs from the “Sound of Music.” We’ll rehearse the night before, Wednesday, August 20th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
THE SUMMER IS SIZZLING…and so is our
“Summer Sizzler BBQ and Praise II”
Thursday, August 21st
6:30 p.m.
The Chancel Choir will be
presenting a medley from
Rogers and Hammerstein’s
“Sound of Music”
We are going to add to our festivities at our 2nd Sizzler…
Two very talented young artists…
will share their works of art in the Fellowship Hall
and
Penny will help you to “tie dye” your favorite t-shirt.

Plan A: weather permitting, we will do this outside

Plan B: we will be doing this in the Youth Wing hallway.
YOU need to bring a clean t-shirt, 100% cotton, and prewashed.
Directions for post tie-dye washing will be included.
The sign-up for the 2nd Sizzler is in the
Gathering Space.
NEW BIBLE STUDIES COMING AT NHUMC…

Starting Monday, September 8 at 6:30 a.m., meet across the street at Perkins…a study of Psalm 23; 8 week study.

Starting Monday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m., a study of Spiritual Gifts; 8 week study.
-
Starting Tuesday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m., a 12-week study of Women of the Old Testament.
All are welcome to the above classes. Pastor Don will be the facilitator. If interested, let the Church Office know, so as to insure having a study book.
