ªVolunteers Neededª

We have many opportunities available to serve in the ministries of Ushering and Greeting for the 2008 church year.

This is a great way to greet old friends, meet new friends, and serve the church.  All are welcome - families, youth, members of church committees and study groups, and singles.  We offer very flexible scheduling - by the month, a specific week of the month, a single Sunday, or as a backup.

Training and orientation is available, so please contact the church office if you are interested!  Please contact Rich.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:  If you like meeting new people and sharing what happens at NHUMC, you will like being a Welcome Center Ambassador.  Welcome Center Ambassadors “hang-out” between services in the area of the Welcome Center table.

To become a part of this important ministry at NHUMC, contact Joyce.

VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH US AT NHUMC!

Some ways you might get involved include:

• Serving on a Ministry Team or Committee

• Working in the Nursery, Preschool, or Children's Worship

• Teaching Sunday School

• Volunteering with the Youth

• Planning or Volunteering with events such as the Children's Easter Party, the Christmas Program, Heifer Project, Vacation Bible School, etc.

• Serving with volunteers at Simpson Shelter or Feed My Starving Children

• Working for a Bloomington Organization such as VEAP, Meals on Wheels, Bridging  or                                Cornerstone ( www.cornerstonemn.org )

• Serving as a Camp Counselor

• Serving as a Stephen Minister

• Praying for Others

• Helping with Yard Work and Maintenance

• Serving as a Greeter or Usher

• Participating in the Music Ministries of the Church

...and any other way you can imagine using your

gifts and talents to the service and glory of God!
